MOT Time Case Study
The addition of Influx Mobiles MOT Time alert application has had a tremendous impact in our bread and butter MOT business. Since it started back in early January it has been responsible for us retaining a large number of previous customers.
If I was to put a figure on it then I could say with confidence that a minimum of 10+ vehicles call in to book their MOT’s as a direct result of the MOT Time text alert. On a good week it could be as high as 20+.
We went for a their ‘Dual Alert’ option, so we send a courtesy 14 Day alert and then a MOT Expired alert on the day the customers MOT expires, no charge is made to the customer and we have had nothing but praise and thanks from our growing customer base about the service.
It’s a fantastic system as we don’t have to do a thing, Influx do the lot. They take our Booking Diaries away and fill in the relevant data and hey presto, the customers call in.
It’s a fabulous return on what is a miniscule investment by Greenbridge MOT as a business.
We now have a mobile database of over 1,000 customers who we can send out Special Offers on things like servicing, tyres etc.
